             Behind a darkened stable door
             above a dirty dusty floor
             was born a baby, hidden out of sight
             and what the world had failed to see
             was the greatest mystery
             a tiny child with God's power and might

             Then to some who saw the signs
             who could read between the lines
             to those who sought, God revealed his majesty
             and to those who seek the way
             who hear the angel's song today
             shall be revealed more of the mystery


               Make room for him this Christmas
               Don't put him far away
               Make room for him this Christmas
               Don't leave him out of your day


             As we rush through these dark days
             following whatever pays
             the chances are we're missing the point of it all
             all our busy-ness and stress
             Is just hiding all the mess
             And the need to find a home for our soul
