Same old films on my TV, bad news as before
Same queues on the motorway, chaos to explore
Same mess in my family, same old stresses too
Same four walls stare back at me, seeing all I do

But is there some way out of this cycle that I'm in?
There must be some way out of this monotony within

Same solutions to my old fears, and strategies to cope
Don`t really solve the problem, or give me hope

Searching a way that's true 
Looking for a heart that's pure
Seeking a road that's new
I'm longing for Your love

Same old problems in a different year
Another crisis like the last
Same flawed principles we re-apply
We don't learn much from the past
Same temptations inside my head, but in a different guise
Same excuses I always use, same values, same demise
