The Jazz-Ringtone to the Kirchentag 2009 in Bremen

Musicians from the UK, Germany and Turkey are improvising to ethical, social and spiritual themes. Thus they are creating organic tracks from Smooth Jazz to Lounge and Fusion.

After seven No.1 placements in the charts of radio stations and music forums Spirit'n'Jazz are now presenting a track from their next CD online and for free download - especially to the theme of the German Protestant Kirchentag in Bremen 2009.

The track "Where are you ?" was created in march 2008 to the theme of the Kirchentag 2009 and up to date it climbed to No. 2 at QFM Tenerife. Musically this track is a Jazz-Latin Crossover featuring Leyla Tugal, Baden-Baden/Germany, on vocals and Derek Crehan, Nottingham/UK, on guitar.

To each track of the CD "Can you see…?" there are quotations from big world religions and philosophies to show commonalities in different cultures. This has been well received in many reviews and there is an interview on D-Radio Kultur Berlin to the contribution of this CD to the Intercultural dialogue. More information in the eNews.

The CD "Can you see…?" is in the program of 77 radio stations from Australia to California and has been on Nr.1 at Worlds Cool Jazz in Florida with three tracks so far.
